Circular needle knitting - Knit from Scratch: Coaster/ Basic Scarf (Absolute Beginners)

New to knitting? You’re in the right place. Knit from Scratch is the perfect starting point for absolute beginners—no experience required, no pressure, just a calm, encouraging space to learn something new.

You’ll begin with the very basics: how to hold your needles and yarn, how to make your first stitches, and how to finish a simple project. For our summer edition, we’re working with smooth, breathable cotton yarn—great for practicing and easy on your hands. You’ll create either a coaster or a basic scarf using circular needles and walk away with new skills and something you made with your own two hands.

All materials to practice during the workshop are included for the workshop, and if you’re curious to explore more, material (e.g. hand-dyed wool by your instructor )will also be available for purchase.
